Port Authority Buses

Pittsburgh Regional Transit buses are an affordable and easy way to travel within the neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. Entry is free for Pitt students with a Pitt ID and costs $2.75 if you pay with cash. Check out the many routes to see which bus you need to take for your next adventure!

The T

The T is also a part of Pittsburgh’s Transit Authority system

Ride-sharing Services

Uber, Lyft, and your other typical ride-sharing services are also available in the Pittsburgh area.

Transportation to and from the Airport

The cheapest option to travel to and from the airport is taking the 28X Pittsburgh Transit Authority bus, which typically comes every 30 minutes. If you are traveling to the airport, make sure the bus stop you are at is a 28X stop. Ride-sharing services are also available for transportation; however, it is a more expensive option.
