The PSTP is proud to announce that research year student Shweta Kitchloo was awarded a Grant for Emerging Researchers/Clinicians Mentorship (GERM) fellowship. Shweta works in the lab of Kathy Shair, PhD. Her project is titled “A 3-D Cell Culture Model of the Nasopharynx Reveals Cell-type-specific susceptibility to Epstein-Barr Virus Infection”
Shweta hails from North Attleboro, MA and attended Boston University for her undergraduate studies. She joined the PSTP in the summer of 2020 with the goal of becoming a physician-scientist who maximizes her impact on future patients in the bench to bedside process.
