This past weekend (April 2-4), Neha Hafeez, an MS3 in the PSTP, received 1st place for the Young Investigator Award in Basic and Translational Science at the 2022 American College of Cardiology Conference. Her project is entitled "SNP rs9277336 Controls the ACTN4-HLA-DPA1 Axis and Pulmonary Endothelial Pathophenotypes in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension". She conducts her PSTP research in the lab of Stephen Chan, MD, PhD.
