MS2, Jessica Jiang, recently presented her retina research at the 2025 Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her abstract, titled “Comparison of Ganglion Cell Thinning After Membrane Peeling for Idiopathic Epiretinal Membrane in Glaucomatous vs. Non-Glaucomatous Eyes,” was scored as a Top 5 submission within the Retina group, leading to an invitation to compete in the MIT Outstanding Poster Competition.
In addition to these accomplishments, Jessica has also received the Sarla and Piyush Kothary Memorial Travel Grant, which supports one female researcher from the US whose work is related to retina research.
